Tuberculosis in the Mouth

Tuberculosis in the mouth? Yes, it can happen.

We usually think of tuberculosis as a disease of the lungs, but TB can rarely affect the mouth too.

One possible sign is a persistent oral ulcer or lesion that doesn't seem to heal as expected.

And this is why we shouldn't ignore unusual or non-healing lesions in the mouth.

It may be something simple… but sometimes, your mouth can be giving you a clue about what's happening elsewhere in your body.

So, don't just ignore that lesion because "it will go away."

Pay attention. Get it checked.

Because, prevention is always cheaper than treatment 📌
